Marguerite L. Loebs, 96, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Myrtle Beach Manor surrounded by family. She was born September 19, 1915 in Tacoma, WA a daughter of the late William and Roseanna St. Germain LaMare. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl William Loebs, her two sisters, Bernadette Lowrey and Lorraine LaMare and a grandson, Stephen Loebs. Mrs. Loebs moved to Myrtle Beach from Alexandria, VA in 1971 and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister helping Sister Pat. She was an avid duplicate bridge player and enjoyed golfing at Myrtlewood Golf Course. Marguerite was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will dearly be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include six children, Sandra Loebs and husband, Stanley Cranstoun of Yardley, PA, Michael Loebs and wife, Maureen of Toms River, NJ, Timothy Loebs and wife, Patricia of Murrells Inlet, SC, Gary Loebs and wife, Delinda of Conway, SC, Stephen Loebs of Jeffersonton, VA and Julie Loebs of Myrtle Beach, SC; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday February 21, 2012 at St. Andrew Catholic Church and a private family burial will be held at Florence National Cemetery in Florence, SC on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM. The family will be at McMillan-Small Funeral Home on Tuesday February 21, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM to greet friends. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Catholic Church 3501 North Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Please go to www.msfh.net to sign the family's online guest book.
