Alice Jones Gay

I knew Miss Gay as a child and lived across the street from her in roanoke rapids. I meet her while cutting grass for her growing up. Miss Gay was a beautiful women inside and out. I spend many evening with her listening to stories and talking. I lost track of her when she moved closer to her son. I had always wondered about her after moving. I thought about her tonight and spoke to my family about her. I just found out that she had passed last year. My deepest sorrow goes out to her family. She was very important to me growing up and gave me advise when needed. I thought of her as another grandmother. May you rest in peace Miss Gay.
