Amy E. Morrill

Amy Evelyn Morrill, a lifelong resident of Milford, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at the age of 90, after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Morrill, whom she was married to for 64 wonderful years.
She was born in Milford on November 9, 1933, daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (Morse) Benoit and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1951. She was the sister of George Benoit of Clifton Forge, VA and was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Benoit.
Over the years, she had been a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was very involved along with singing in the church choir. She was also very active within the square dance community alongside her husband Bob, who was an accomplished square dance caller and teacher for over 20 years throughout MA and RI. They formed many square dance clubs together and held square dance retreats all over New England. She loved traveling with her husband where they enjoyed numerous trips to Disney World and their various trips to different parts of Europe. She had been employed for years as an administrative assistant, working both for Fishbein Electronics of Milford and many years for Jorgensen Steel of Hopkinton, until her retirement.
Amy is survived by her daughters Gail Bernheart and her husband Richard of Franklin; Robin Lewis and her husband Gordon of Hopedale; Beth-Ellen Healey and her husband Robert of Milford; Terry Wilt and her husband Randy of Canton, GA; Sandra Novack of North Port, FL; and the late Karen L'Etalien of Millville; 7 grandchildren: Nicole Klamans of Woodbridge, VA; David Bernheart of Franklin; Steven L'Etalien of Millville; Robert L'Etalien of Blackstone; Justin Lewis of Hopedale; Gregory Lewis of Carver and Bradley Novack of Fort Myers, FL; Sister-in-laws Linda Harty of Bonita Springs, FL; Patricia Smith of Milford and Barbara Simmons of Plymouth; Brother-in-law Wayne Morrill of Mendon, 13 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 9 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Milford.
