Ann Christine (Thompson) Carter, age 59 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday morning, November 18, 2023 at her home in Indianapolis.
Ann was born on February 25, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of her mother: Sue (Nicholson) Scroggs and her father: Wesley Thompson.
Ann married Keith Carter on April 12, 1986 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by her husband of 38 years: Keith Carter of Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by one daughter: Sarah (husband Kyle) Crawford of Fishers, Indiana,
Three grandsons: Carter, Canaan, and Cohlston Crawford.
Her father: Wesley (wife Sally) Thompson of Binghamton, New York.
Her mother: Sue (husband Robert) Scroggs of New Palestine, Indiana.
Siblings: Doug Thompson of Binghamton, New York, Erin Thompson-Miller of Binghamton, New York, Andrew (wife Kaylee Wolcott ) Thompson of Binghamton, New York.
Step siblings: Julia (husband Scott Schwartz) Motyka of New York City, New York and Toby (wife Sarah) Motyka of Randolph, New Jersey.
Ann enjoyed walking, spending time with her family, having lunch with friends, and making her house a home. Most importantly her favorite thing was being Grammie to her three grandsons.
Ann will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society
A visitation will held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center – located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.
Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon also at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center.
Her funeral will follow at 12:00 Noon.
Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
