Family and friends to be received Tuesday November 2nd from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
Anna Claire (Rummell) Hildebrand ""Sis"", 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior October 21, 2021. Born February 2, 1937, in Jackson Township. Daughter of the late Charles Kelso Rummell and Bertha (Nyman) Modis Rummell. Anna was the last surviving of 21 children. Preceded in death by loving husband of 66 years, Donald S. Hildebrand; brothers, Albert, Kelsie, and Robert Rummell; Andrew, John, and James Modis; Charles, Arthur, William, and Ira Rummell; sisters, Elsie ""Honey"" (Rummell) Troup; Violet Marie (Modis) Cadwallder; Bertha (Modis) Regula Cole; Louise (Modis) Benko Young; Margaret (Modis) Hamula; Dorothy (Rummell) Lingar; Virginia ""Gaye"" (Rummell) Hite Ford; Roslyn ""Rhoda"" (Rummell) Fry; Mary Lou (Rummell) Mechanic; Jean (Rummell) Davis; and John Korol, who was like a step-father to her and raised her from the age of 12. Survived by three children, Brenda Haupt (Charles); Donald Hildebrand (Janet Dryzal); and Robert ""BJ"" Hildebrand (Nina De Salvo); 10 grandchildren, Mathew and Anthony Haupt; Lynnette Shuster; Brianna Lehman; Ashley, Michelle, and Christina Hildebrand; Cortney Selepack; Allison Blackwell; and Brenton Hildebrand; 19 great grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Patty Rummell Gay; and caretaker, Ronda Garver. Anna enjoyed crocheting, line dancing, and was a member of The Red Hat Society and Ebensburg Evangelical Church. She was an excellent cook and baker and was a talented cake decorator, but most of all she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and would do anything to help or protect them. Family and friends will be received Tuesday November 2nd from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
