Annie Belle Tucker

Annie Belle Tucker, 79, known as "PeeWee", a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Charlie and Patricia West Tucker.
Annie moved to Asheville as a young child with her parents and siblings. She graduated from the "Castle on the Hill" (Stephens-Lee High School). Annie retired from Mission Hospital. She was a member of Tabernace Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher and Sunday School Secretary until her health declined. She was also an ex-member of Daughter of Zion Chapter #2 O.E.S.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mae Tucker and Peggy Tucker; brother, Jesse Tucker; sisters-in-law, Gail Tucker and Dawanna Tucker.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Trecia Neise Tucker of Asheville, NC and Travis Tucker of California; brothers, Charlie Tucker (Claudia), Tommie Tucker, Johnny Tucker all of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Anthony "Cody" Tucker, Shanikqua Tucker, Sharan Fortune-Tucker; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 3:00pm Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Violet Hill Cemetery.
