Antoine Elias Rizk

Passed away suddenly but peacefully with his family by his side at Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, June 23, 2023 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Isabelle. Loving father of Marie (Stephen), Monique, Joseph, and Jenny (Robert). Grandpa/Giddo to Alexa, Kyle, Luka, Layla and Elias. Survived by his dear brothers Selim and Tewfik of Montreal, QC. Dear brother of late Georgette, George, Leila, Marie, and Youssef. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their adored families.
Born in Cairo, Egypt, Antoine immigrated to Canada with his beloved Isabelle in 1964. They first settled in Montreal, then lived in Ottawa for the last 45 years. He was a dedicated Optician with his start in Cairo in 1950, and continued his Optical profession until 2014 at age 81. Our deepest heartfelt appreciation to Father Samir Sarkis for his support and to the doctors and nurses at Ottawa Civic Hospital Acute Monitoring Area and Fifth Floor 'B' for the compassionate care given to our father.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday, June 28th at 10am - 12pm at Sts Peter & Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa. Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
