Arthur James Willie Jr. 71, was a resident of Lowell Mass for more than 60 years.
Arthur peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. He was born on March 30, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA. At the age of 9 years old he became a resident of Lowell MA. Arthur was the son of the late Willamae Willie of Rome, GA. Though lived in Lowell Ma. Also kin to the late Arthur James Willie Sr of Pittsburgh, PA. Raised as well by step father Charles McNeil of Lowell MA. Arthur attended Bartlett Middle and Lowell High Schools. Arthur worked at various companies in Lowell, MA. He was a member of the Merrimack Valley Lodge in Lawrence, MA, IBPOE Elks.
Arthur was an excellent barber for many years. Some of his hobbies were playing football, a love for cooking, and being an excellent chess player. Mr. Willie is survived by a daughter Neivia Tarkeesh Choate. He is also survived by two sisters Donna L. Hill, and Catherine Y. Willie. Predeceased brother Nathaniel Smith of Plymouth, MA. Four grandchildren Khadijah Jolene Choate, Nyejah Rae Johnson, Jewel Alexandria Johnson, and Myles Shaleek Choate. Nieces Nadine smith, Tracey Dickey Smith, Tyrelle Hill surpris, Rita Adams Smith, Keah Hill Massena, Angela Holley Smith, and late Natechelo smith. Nephews Marcus Doby, Nathaniel Smith Jr., A host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins from Lowell, MA and Pittsburgh, PA. As well as a close friend Chivonne William.
