Con profunda tristeza, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido padre, Asunción Escobar, quien partió en su hogar rodeado de su esposa, hijos, nietos, familiares y amigos. Originario de Lislique, departamento de La Unión, El Salvador, nació el 1 de enero de 1950, siendo hijo de Ambrosio Alfaro y Cornelia Escobar. En su juventud, se dedicó al buceo y la pesca. Emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1979 y se estableció en Washington D.C. Con el tiempo, logró traer a su esposa e hijo mayor, y su meta fue traerlos todos a este pais, cual lo cumplio.
Fue un hombre trabajador, honrado, luchador y profundamente dedicado a su familia. Disfrutaba de la compañía de sus mascotas y uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos era tocar la guitarra, aunque lo que más valoraba era reunirse con sus hijos. Se esforzó incansablemente, trabajando hasta en dos o tres empleos, para brindar un hogar lleno de amor y estabilidad. Siempre fue una persona amigable, dispuesto a tender una mano a quien lo necesitara y comprometido con hacer el bien.
Compartió 55 años con su compañera de vida Julia Fuentes, con quien tuvo 11 hijos, de los cuales sobreviven 8. Toda su vida fue dedicada a su familia, hasta su último momento. Su legado de amor, sacrificio y unión familiar vivirá siempre en nuestros corazones.
English Obituary: With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved father, Asunción Escobar, who departed in his home surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Originally from Lislique, in the department of La Unión, El Salvador, he was born on January 1, 1950, the son of Ambrosio Alfaro and Cornelia Escobar. In his youth, he dedicated himself to diving and fishing. He emigrated to the United States in 1979 and settled in Washington, D.C. Over time, he was able to bring his wife and eldest son, fulfilling his goal of reuniting his entire family in this country.He was a hardworking, honorable, and determined man who was deeply dedicated to his family. He enjoyed the company of his pets, and one of his favorite hobbies was playing the guitar. However, what he valued most was gathering with his children. He worked tirelessly, sometimes holding two or three jobs, to provide a home filled with love and stability. He was always a friendly person, ready to lend a hand to those in need, and committed to doing good.He shared 55 years of life with his partner, Julia Fuentes, with whom he had 11 children, 8 of whom survive him. His entire life was devoted to his family, up until his final moments. His legacy of love, sacrifice, and family unity will live on forever in our hearts.
