Barbara Cooper Reid, of Greece NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024 at age 81 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born November 24, 1942 to R. Gordon and Jane (Daley) Cooper.
She is survived by sons Bradley Reid and Darrell Reid; granddaughter Jennifer (Andrew) Ramirez; great-grandchildren Makayla, Jayden and Conor; brothers David (Paula) and Frank (Bette) Cooper; nephews & nieces Devin (Kathy) Cooper, Amy Cooper Curtis, Brian (Wendi) Cooper; Eric Cooper, Erin (Joseph) Cooper, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Kuhar and many cousins, family and friends.
Barbara graduated from Charlotte High School (1960) before attending college in Yankton, SD. She began her career at Decor Builders before working and retiring from St. Joseph's Villa (Villa of Hope).
She enjoyed reading and had an artistic flair for painting and various arts & crafts. She loved baking, especially with her granddaughters! She created the most amazing Christmas cookies and apple pies! She also enjoyed lunch and dinner gatherings with her friends from the Villa and the Charlotte H.S. Alumni. She will be missed!
Interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in a private ceremony.
