I worked with Barry, he was my bouncer at a local bar. He was there to protect me, and did so extremely well, without any hesitation. But I knew what a big teddy bear he really was. I never once heard Barry even say a negative word or thought, he always had the most positive outlook even in a situation that you would have thought didn´t have a positive side to it. I´m trying to think of what Barry would tell me for this grief I feel over his passing.. He would tell me it´s gonna be okay. He would tell me I´m gonna be okay. He would tell me that life goes on and I know he would tell me that he´s always going to be here for me. And give me a huge Barry hug where he picked me up off the ground so he could stand back up straight. I´m going to miss those hugs so much and his comforting, positive words that really did make it seem like everything was going to be okay. My deepest condolences to his family, especially his children. He talked of you often and was so proud. He will be more than missed and in our hearts forever.

Barry was on of the strongest people I ever knew and he had one of the kindest, softest hearts. He would help anyone in need. He helped me many times with many different things. I loved playing basketball league games with him and then going out to eat and laughing together. He was so funny and would often talk about his kids. I could tell how much he loved Sammy and Tony. Barry was truly a great friend and amazing person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I will miss you my friend. Thank you for your great friendship and making me laugh so much all the time. You will be dearly missed.
