Betty Jane Hausmann

Betty Jane Hausmann of Georgetown, Texas passed away December 5, 2023. She was born November 5, 1928 in New Sweden, Texas.
Betty grew up in New Sweden where her family farmed cotton and attended the New Sweden Lutheran Church. At the age of 9 the family moved to Austin. She graduated from Stephen F Austin High School and married Clyde Hausmann in 1948. Clyde and Betty raised their family of four in Austin, Texas and enjoyed camping, fishing, and summer trips to the Texas coast. Betty was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Travis Hausmann, and daughter, Chelsea Jane Hausmann Naugle.
Betty is survived by her sister, Dolores Doering of Georgetown, Texas; three sons, Travis Hausmann of Spicewood, Texas, Scott Hausmann (Teri) of Round Rock, Texas and Allan Hausmann (Portia) of Thorndale, Texas. She was the loving grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery 2800 Hancock Dr. Austin, Texas.
