Beverly was born June 18, 1950 in Lansing to R.J. and Juanita McCaleb. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who enjoyed nurturing her lemon tree and making muffins with the blueberries from her blueberry bushes. One of her most requested dishes would be to bring her deviled eggs to any gathering or party she attended. She truly loved taking care of her flowers and inspiring young kids to learn. Beverly was also a member of the Red Hats Association.
Survivors include her husband Robert, whom she married June 13, 1970; her daughter, Kimberly Knapp of Buckeye, AZ; her mother Juanita Engel of Charlotte, MI; a brother David McCaleb of Jackson, MI and a sister Lisa Saylor of Charlotte, MI.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father R.J. McCaleb

Bob and Kim, my heart goes out to you. I hope that you are surrounded by love as you go forth and that fond memories of Bev will comfort you. I will always remember her as the kind neighbor who became my friend as our children played. She was the gentle soul whose love and support helped me through the difficult times when my second son was born with a heart defect and struggled to strive. Eventually he thrived. Though separated by miles Bev and I continued to share life's milestones. I was blessed to have a friend like Bev. I will miss her, but truly believe that she is in a better place.
