He was the son of the late Comer Strong and Reba Mabry Strong. He was married to the late Hattie Strong. He was a truck driver, and a resident of Algood, TN. He was a member of the Westview Baptist Church of Cookeville.
Survivors include 3 Sons: Danny (Kathy) Strong of Griffin, GA, Jimmy Strong of Gainesboro, TN, and Steve (Marcelle) Strong of Tybee Island, GA; Daughter: Brandy Nash of Portland, TN; Sister: Rosemary Sharpe; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time.
