Brian Crochet

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA for Brian Crochet, 62, who passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at his residence in Lafayette, LA.
Visitation will be observed at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Pastor Todd Menard, of Family Life Church in Lafayette, will officiate.
Brian Crochet, was born June 13, 1961, in Houma, LA and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. He graduated from South LaFourche High School in Cut Off, LA, Class of 1979. After high school, Brian attended Louisiana Technical College in Lafayette. He was actively involved at the Family Life Church in Lafayette.
Brian's fun, outgoing personality allowed him to create a 29 year career in air conditioner sales, followed by seven years in the real estate industry with his wife, Reba. Throughout his life, he enjoyed a variety of interests including band, volleyball, children's ministry, cooking and a passion for fishing. He loved to spend time saltwater fishing, as well as looking for the monster bass in fresh water. The highlight of his life-long fishing adventure was being on the water with his son, Daniel. Grilling for Sunday dinner or cooking for crowds, Brian enjoyed every minute of cooking and serving food. He was loved by so many and he loved them right back. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him with laughs, tears and stories.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Reba Windham Crochet, of Lafayette, LA; his son, Daniel Crochet and his wife, Rhonda, of Lafayette, LA; his brother, Elmer Crochet and his wife, Lola, of Youngsville, LA; his sister, Cheryl Spurlock, of LaRose, LA and dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmore J. Sr., and Nora Terrebonne Crochet; his brother, E.J. Crochet; his sister, Levine Crochet; brother-in-law, Jack Spurlock and sister-in-law, Evelina Crochet.
