Brian Keith Yount, 54, of Janesville, WI, died March 2, 2023 at Mercy Health Hospital in Janesville.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Congregational Church in
Ravenna, NE. Rev. Jeff Zinnel officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be in Highland Park Cemetery in

Brian was born on August 1, 1968, to Robert Price Yount Jr. and Bonnie Rae (Ridenour) Yount. He grew up in
Ravenna, Nebraska until his mother's passing in October 1982 at which time Brian went to live with his Great Aunt Blanch Sandoz of Rushville, Nebraska. He attended school in Ravenna, later graduating from Sunshine Bible Academy in June 1986.
Brian entered the Marine Corps in August 1986, he served on Active Duty until February of 1994, then in the Marine Corp Reserves from February 2003 until April of 2009 when he was Honorably Discharged holding the rank of GySgt. He served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom (3 tours).
Brian and Missy (Manion) were married from 20 September 2008 until 01 April 2019. They had one child, Ruby and they resided in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Brian worked in the IT career field for several companies including being self-employed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Yount Jr.; mother Bonnie R. Yount; brother Bobby Yount, sister, Teri Sue Green and brother, David Yount.
