Bruce Wayne Schoeneberg, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away at his home on June 13, 2024. Bruce was born on October 25, 1955 in Cheyenne to Buzz and Corky.
Bruce was a life time resident of Cheyenne. He had so many friends and acquaintances over the years - always seemed to make friends anywhere he went. Bruce was a simple man. It wasn't material things that he loved most in life, it was his people. He was so proud of being a partner, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Tough exterior with a gentle soul. Bruce gave back to the community through recovery. He was always willing to help those that were down to get back on their feet. Bruce's favorite past time was camping and fishing with Karen and his dogs. Bruce could also be found riding his Harley on beautiful Wyoming days.
Bruce was a painter for the majority of his life. He loved to point out all the areas around town that he and Randy had painted and restored. He was very proud to have been a part of Cheyenne's rich history.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Henry "Buzz" Schoeneberg and Claretta Belle "Corky" Homan. He is survived by his partner Karen Loghry, son Eric Daring and wife Amanda, daughter Chelsey Wood and husband Nick, grandsons Cameron and Jeremiah, sister Carol Creswell and her husband Richard, sister Margo Burrows and brother Randy Schoeneberg. Brother in law George, sister in law Cindy and sister in law Angela. Nieces Adrienne, Jennifer, Courtnay, Abigail, Nichole, Krystal, Leah, and Melanie. Nephews James, Josh, Brian and Casey as well as great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life on Sunday June 23rd from 2-6 pm at the David R Romero Community Center (1317 Parsley Blvd). In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Cheyenne Black Dog Animal Rescue.
