Guest Book
A funeral service for Byron Eugene Noble, Jr., 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Haughton United Methodist Church, 215 East McKinley Ave, Haughton, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial to follow the service at Haughton Cemetery, 154 South Elm Street, Haughton, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor René Moradel.
Byron was born on July 30, 1938, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Byron Eugene Noble, Sr., and Frankie Katherine Brown Noble, and went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2022.
Byron grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, and was a Fair Park High School graduate class of ’56. He was married to the love of his life Margaret for 56 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play and sing Country and Bluegrass music. Byron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and is going to be greatly missed by all.
Byron is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Blakenship Noble; sister, Frankie Cole; and brother, Elliott Noble. He is survived by children, Margaret Ann Brookshire and husband, Earl, Eugene Noble, Roy Noble and Marvin Murray; grandson, Sam Brookshire and girlfriend, Emily Boggs; sister, Iris Chambless and husband, Arthur; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Honoring Byron as pallbearers will be Kenny Ward, James Butcher, Guillermo Quintanilla, Mark Chambless, Bill Chambless, and Earl Brookshire.
