Nearing the one year anniversary of Uncle Cal's passing, I can hardly believe it has already been a year ago that we got the news. When I saw his birth date in the obituary today (February 19th) I realized for the first time that he was a fellow Aquarius. Must have been one reason why we always got along so well. Aquarius is a friend to all, and that pretty well describes Uncle Cal.

Uncle Cal was the favorite uncle of my girls and me. He baked the most wonderful tollhouse cookies at the holidays and was always sweet, cheerful and kind. He will be loved and missed by all he knew. We were blessed to have him in our lives for many years as my three daughters grew up and as I was raised by my grandfather and Pauline's brother, John R. Weigle. We visited the farm every week for decades as I was growing up in Millerstown, PA in the 60's and 70's, leaving for college and law school in NY in the 1980's. We helped sell peaches at the fruit stand. The corn and fruit were the best any of us had ever had and ever will. Rest in peace, Uncle Cal and Aunt Polly.

Sorry to hear of Cal's passing. Cal gave me my first job at the age of 12 and always treated me well. I remember many lunches in the out kitchen the Pauline made while we worked. I didn't see him as often as I would have liked these past years and as usual life catches up to us. Dink!!!!
