Carroll Biddle, of Paris, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2025, at the age of ninety-four. Carroll was joined in the furniture business for forty-four years by his late wife, Louise, and was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years. He loved singing in the choir and was blessed with seventy-one years of marriage. He attended school in Cowan, Ewing, and Flemingsburg, KY, and was designated a Kentucky Colonel. His hobbies included golf and woodworking.
Born January 21, 1931, Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lora Lee Ishmael Biddle, and three older brothers, Marvin, Howard, and Hanley "Pat". Carroll and Louise loved their three children and their spouses, Glenna (Jim) Linville, Drs. Michael (Wendy) Biddle, and Libby (Keith) Lenox, and their grandchildren, Jenny (Travis) Earlywine, Brad Linville, Dr. Stephanie Lenox and Dr. Madison Lenox, and attorney Brent (Amanda) Hutchison and five great-grandchildren, Luke and Noah Earlywine, and Tyler, Parker, and Walker Hutchison.
The family would like to recognize his "Hardees breakfast friends" and the staff and members of the YMCA for their dedicated friendship and support, and the Markey Cancer Center's Hospice for their exceptional care during Carroll's last days.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be conducted by Dr. Michael Biddle and held at the Paris cemetery for family members according to his wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA or the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. The online guestbook is at www.luskmcfarland.com and a 24-hour funeral information line can be reached by calling 859-987-4387.
