First Lady Charlotte Fox Robinson

Charlotte Robinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa on Sep. 10, 2024.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Whom shall I be Afraid? – Psalm 27:1 First Lady Charlotte Fox Robinson departed this earthly home on Monday, September 2, 2024. Though her spirit left this earthly home she has entered a home not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. She will forever be remembered for her sweet spirit and unwavering grace, tenacity, spiritual wisdom and her contagious smile.
She was introduced to Christ at an early age by her parents the late Walter Fox and Addrine Thomas Fox. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church and after marrying the love of her life, Victor Robinson they joined St. John Tempe Church of God in Christ and later joined The Glorious Church in Poplarville, MS. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Ka' Shetah Robinson Walker, Victor Robinson, Jr, and Clarence Armell Robinson, Sr. They also reared Steven L. Fox.
First Lady Charlotte Robinson was married to Victor Robinson Sr. For 49 beautiful years. She was a gift from God with her steadfast commitment, fortitude, and pillar of strength. She could walk in a room with her radiant smile and could bring immense joy, The Joy of the Lord was her strength. Her favorite quote was "May the Work I've Done Speak for Me."
Cooking was a passion, she absolutely loved it, especially during the holidays. Her family would gather in large groups during this time of the year and the desserts and dishes that she prepared were some of the most anticipated. She dedicated over 26 years of service to the Bogalusa City School. She served as the Food Service Manger at Byrd Avenue Primary School. She was also presented with the My Plate Award from First Lady Michelle Obama in Washington, DC.
She was a virtuous woman with integrity and enjoyed testifying about the goodness of the Lord. She would often say, "Have you tried Jesus?" She was prayer warrior and a soul winner that led others to Christ. She truly made a difference with her unconditional love. She opened her heart and embraced others with her love of God and will be missed tremendously. Her absence leaves a void in our hearts, and she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
