Clyde Paul Miller age 69 died on October 2, 2024 peacefully at home after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
He was born on June 14, 1955 in White Pine MI to John Miller and Ruth (Puska) Miller-Taylor.
He graduated from Hancock high school in 1974 and then enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he got an honorable discharge. Thereafter he went to work at swift true value were he worked for the next 42 years until at the age of 62 he retired.
He married Shannon Stapleford on May 11, 1996 and celebrated 28 Blessed and Loved years.
He was a member of the Houghton Baptist Church, Christina Motorcyclist Association and was on many dart and pool leagues. He loved to watch movies, Especially war movies and was the main "fixer" at Swifts.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, brother Gary Miller, sister Ruth Ann Miller, brother Doug Taylor and his Fraternal and Maternal Grandparents.
He is survived by his wife Shannon (Stapleford) Miller, brothers Mike (Karen) Taylor, Mark Taylor and Ken (Irene) Taylor, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew and Cousins.
Clyde's funeral will take place at 6:30 on Friday, October 11 with visitation from 4-5:30 at Houghton Baptist Church on West Sharon Avenue in Houghton. Please honor him by wearing your favorite sports gear. He was a very big Detroit fan and we would like to keep his celebration of life casual.

I met Clyde in the late 70´s when I moved from Toledo Ohio and got a job at Newberrys! Always had fun talking to him. So sorry he was in such bad health! Prayers for your family to help get you through!
