Daniel Clarence "Danny" Hester Jr.

Daniel Clarence "Danny" Hester, Jr., 67, resident of Myrtle, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by family. The family has requested cremation. Mr. Hester was born March 25, 1957, in Batesville, the son of the late Daniel Clarence Hester, Sr. and Frances Patterson Holston. He received his education from Belzoni High School and was previously employed with Hester Mobile Home Movers. Known as the "Prince of Facebook" to his family and friends, Mr. Hester was a "jack of all trades" enjoying everything from cooking to working on cars. A Christian, he will be remembered for his love of the Lord, his servant's heart, his pleasure of listening to 70 & 80 classic rock music and planning the next greatest prank. A big man with an even bigger heart, he will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Wonderful memories will continue to be shared by his wife of 35 years, Rose Beckwith Hester, two sons, Mark Davenport and Clark Hester, both of Myrtle, two sisters, Freda Hester Chapman and Marjorie Guthrie, both of Wynne, AR, three grandchildren, Kalib, Kylie and Klaire Davenport and a host of brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
