Darnell Randolph was born on December 20, 1967 in Camden, New Jersey to Phyllis and Arthur Randolph. Darnell departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2023 in
Plainfield, New Jersey. He was a loving husband and an amazing father. On August 27, 2016 he married his truest best friend, Tee'Kim Ross-Randolph. They purchased their first home later that year. After 26 years of commendable service as a FireFighter, Darnell retired from the Plainfield Fire Department in 2017. Once retired, his love and passion for the continued safety of the City of Plainfield compelled him to further his education and career. Soon after obtaining additional licensing and certifications, he was rehired to the Plainfield Fire Department in 2018 as a Fire Inspector. Safety and fire prevention were truly his #1 goal. He took great pride and accountability in educating and assisting with keeping the residents informed and safe. Darnell was known throughout several of the City's departments and local businesses as light hearted, positive, full of information, and a joy to work with and have around.
Darnell shared a true love for bowling, shooting pool, playing cards and all types of board games. Some of the organizations, pool and bowling leagues Darnell belonged to that will truly miss him are : Dealers Choice, Smooth Criminals, APA Pool League, and Cosmos Social Club of
