Dear Carmen:
I just discovered the news about David's death this morning! I feel so badly that I did not get to see David again before he died. My husband passed away in March, 2025, which put an end to our traveling days. (I'm 80 years old---a little younger than David.)
We both grew up in Connecticut and he was one of the two cousins that I had on my father's (Post) side of the family, David and his sister, Sally. I lost touch with both of them when I moved West in 1969. I am attaching the only two pictures I could find of David---one of him as a "baby" and one of him when he visited my home in East Haven with his parents and my other Post Aunts and Uncles. David is 2nd from the left in the back row. I am not in the picture because I was taking the picture---which I did very badly, completely cutting off my father who was sitting in the chair on the far right.
I'm so sorry that I never got to meet you! David's obituary was beautiful, and it sounds like you have a wonderful family.
You have my deepest condolences. It's so hard when we lose a spouse after so many wonderful years! Thank the Lord that we have our families to sustain us.
Much love,
Cousin Brenda Post Frandsen
