David L. Shove

He was my elementary music teacher. He was an amazing person full with passion.

I am so very sad about David. We were good friends in high school and college, and we lost touch along the way. I last saw him at our class's high school reunion. As most of us often do, I planned on keeping in touch, but didn't. I regret this so much. David was kind, loving, gifted, creative and I loved him. He cared about me as a young teenager and showed me so much kindness during high school and college. He was always there for me. He watched out for me, even though I didn't realize it at the time, and got mad at me only when he thought I made poor choices... he was my guardian angel at the time. I cannot tell you how much I regret not being in touch with him and being a better friend to him... a man who clearly gave so much and loved deeply. He will be forever missed. What a terrible loss. My heart goes out to his family and children. I cannot imagine your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all. David, I look forward to seeing you in heaven... I was very lucky to have recently met Dave when he came in to substitute at our elementary school. He was quick to smile, introduce himself and dive in to whatever was needed. We very quickly came to rely on him and our hearts are so very sad with is passing. I will keep all of his family and friends in my prayers.
