It is with a heavy heart that I fondly remember a great guy in Dean. Dean was a proud man. Proud of the work he did as a truck driver. Proud of the cars he kept in pristine condition. Proud of his lush green lawn. But he wasn't into himself. Dean always thought of others and was ready to lend a helping hand to a friend or neighbor. I knew Dean for over 25 years, first meeting him at a family dinner at Christmastime at my girlfriend's house. In fact, Dean and his brother, Ray, would come up to Michigan to their cousin's house every year for Christmas and Easter meals, sharing with us their personal stories and reveling in the company of many relatives. When Dean spoke, you listened, because he was a man of measured words and thoughtful discourse. He spoke quietly, but with conviction. As serious as he was at times, he also had a keen sense of humor. And he was an avid sports fan, just like his brother. I'm sure Dean made many friends and touched a bunch of people over his 68 years living in a small town in Ohio, and he's going to be deeply missed by every one of them, especially his brother and lifetime housemate, Ray. Rest in Heaven, Dean. In Christian love, John
