Debra Delo Obituary

Deb loved her children, grandbabies, and husband fiercely, but was also known as "Mama Delo" to many. She was funny, had a genuine smile, and was a relentless fighter with a heart of gold. Her tremendous faith carried her through the years, and she always gave her best love to her family. She and Brian just celebrated 46 years of marriage together. She was a shimmering and bright light in this world. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Gregory VanBoven.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Delo; son, Johnathon (Ava Smith); son, Josh and Britt Delo (Lake, Haze); daughter, Brittney and Andre Martinez (Marlowe, Ira); parents, Ben and Rita VanBoven; brothers, Allen and Carrie VanBoven, Rick and Lisa VanBoven; in-laws, Merlin and Juanita Delo; many extended family and friends; and best friends, Paula and Gary Cuperus.
Visitation with the family is 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.
Funeral services are at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Fellowship Reformed, 2165 West Lakewood Blvd. Holland, MI 49424.
Burial to take place in Lakewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Deb's honor may be given to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society., 1471 East 12 Mile Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071. www.langelandsterenberg.com
