Debra (Debbie) Alice Marco Leigh, 73, died on September 6, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ms. Marco Leigh was born on August 16, 1951 in Painesville, Ohio and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Debbie was co-owner of Professional Property Management and sales for 25 years and was a co-owner of Spectrum Realty for 6 years and a long-time member of the real estate community in Saint Lucie County. She worked tirelessly with section 8 tenants and multi-family properties in Saint Lucie and Martin Counties. 

Survivors include James J. McKinney (son) and family Molly (wife), Rachel (granddaughter), Ryan (grandson). Tammy Dominique (daughter) and Darrin (grandson). Daniel McKinney (son) and family Jennifer (wife), Madi (granddaughter), Amira (granddaughter), Anise (granddaughter), Charlie (grandson), Greyson (great grandson), and Max (great grandson). Nicole Moore (daughter) and family Jonathon (grandson), Jaslynn (granddaughter), Maiyah (great granddaughter). Laura Altizer (niece) and family Gary (husband), Barrett (great nephew), and Bailey (great niece). Patrick Carter and family Mellissa (wife), Camden (great nephew), and Daphne (great niece). Richard Cox (brother) and family. Holly Zimmers (half-sister) and family. 

She was preceded in death by Helen Comiskey (mother), Arthur Cox (father), Patrick Comiskey (stepfather), Terri Carter (sister), James E. McKinney (ex-husband), Larry Horky (ex-husband), Dewey Moore (ex-husband), Tony Marco (ex-husband), David Leigh (ex-husband), Monk Tarrents (ex-husband).

Debbie graduated from North Hollywood High and Collinwood High School in CA, Gulf Coast School of Real Estate and Beauty School.

She was a member of the March of Dimes and Community United Methodist Church. She was a “my way or the highway” kind of woman, strong and determined. 

She enjoyed gardening, stained glass, arts and crafts, singing/performing, Irish Setters, cat’s Bella and Minnie, and watching Jeopardy (and pretending to know the answers after they were revealed) and law and order shows. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the local Humane Society.
