Doris was born in North Adams on October 18, 1948, a daughter of William Henry and Viola (Belanger) Worth, Sr. She attended North Adams schools and was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
Doris married Ray Allen Cote on February 25, 1967. Ray predeceased her on February 12, 2022. They enjoyed many winters as snowbirds in Daytona, FL.
Doris took pleasure in going for walks, caring for her plants, windchimes, baking and she had a great love for dogs.
Doris is survived by her son Tobe Cote of North Adams; a granddaughter Kelsie Cote and grandson Jake Cote; as well as her best friend, Barbara Dix. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; William H. Worth, Jr. of Clarksburg, and Walter W. Worth of North Adams. MA and a sister Alice Worth in 1964.
