Doris Regan

Mrs. Doris Regan passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her daughter Linda's home in East Millstone. She was eighty-eight years old.
Mrs. Regan was born and raised in Highland Park. She went to St. Paul's Grammar School and graduated from Highland Park High School then began a career as a legal secretary. She was employed at Perry Martin Esq. and for many years at Westinghouse and Rutgers University before retiring.
After marrying, she and her husband Robert moved to the Somerset section of Franklin Township where she would raise her young family. She was an active parishioner at St. Matthias Church in Somerset and volunteered her time to the church carnival annually as well as other parishioner activities. She was also a volunteer at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Mrs. Regan travelled extensively. She enjoyed many European countries and loved the culture of Singapore as well as other places on many continents. She also lived many years in Melbourne Beach n Florida where she spent her winters. She enjoyed the game of golf and played in a local women's league and was also an avid cook and baker.
Mrs. Regan was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2016 and by her son Scott in 2001 as well as her parents Joseph and Caroline Terzino, her siblings Donald Terzino and Carol Terzino.
She is survived by her daughters Katherine Piell and her husband Fred, Barbara Knapp and Linda Swayne and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her grandchildren Eric Knapp, Melanie Frasher and her husband Chris, Peter O'Neill and his fiancé Anjelica Willams, Chelsea Piell, Cassandra Nunn and her husband Jason and Collin Sperber and her great grandchildren Preston Knapp, Lucas Nunn, Cameron Frasher and Rylie Nunn.
Visitation will take place on Thursday March 7, 2024 from 5-8 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home in Somerset. Funeral services will begin at 9 AM on Friday the 8th of March at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 AM funeral mass at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Committal services will follow mass at St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery in New Brunswick.
