I met Ed volunteering for the Smithsonian. He was so earnest and kind and just a good person. He will be greatly missed.

I worked closely with Ed for a dozen years at BEP. Almost every out-of-town trip we took, we had to stop at some store to get shoe-glue for his running shoes. He was the best. God bless him and his family.

Ed was such a caring, kind, and true friend. One of my first friends when I moved to the DC area. I will miss you very much and glad to have met you.

Ed, we miss you! I still remember meeting you years ago at Grosvenor, and I have great memories of concerts, ballet, b-day brunches, volunteering, ... Through it all, you were a steadfast friend. Glad and honored to have known you!
