Funeral services for Mrs. Elda Rae Bozeman, 83, of Jennings will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and continue until the time of service.
Mrs. Bozeman was born on November 25, 1938, in Evangeline, LA to Allen and Una LeJeune Reed. She worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed dancing and visiting with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Touchet of Crowley; three sisters, Ruth Klumpp of Jennings, Helouise Butler of Jennings, Ellen Taylor of Sulphur; two brothers, Sonny Reed of Jennings, Jimmy Reed of Lafayette; twelve grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Troy Touchet, Damon Gaspard, Mason Vanicor, Tanner Touchet, Chris Touchet and Corry Touchet.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery LeGros and David John LeGros.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Kayla Gaspard and Marchelle LeGros; one sister, Renee LeJeune, and one great-great grandchild, Camron LeGros.
