Eva "June" was born June 4, 1919 to Herman and Edith Slate in Stark, IA. A longtime resident of Gladbrook, June and her husband, Clarence, raised one daughter, Linda. June babysat for many Gladbrook families. She had a love for cats, birds, kids, gardening, and being with her neighbors.
June will be missed by her daughter, Linda. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, one sister, Charlene, and two brothers, Mearl and Glen.
