FLORENCE E. ROSSMAN

1933 - 2025

Florence E. (Haynes) Rossman, 92, of Coudersport passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, in her home, surrounded by family. She was born March 5, 1933, in Gardeau, to Chester and Ethel (Pelchey) Haynes.
She worked for a time at Sylvania in Emporium, and on October 19, 1952, she married Joseph Gaberseck with whom she shared 46 years of marriage and raised four children. After Joseph's death, she married Clayton Rossman with whom she shared eight years of marriage. Her most important job was mother to her children, but later she held various housekeeping jobs. She had been a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, the Odin Grange, and served as a Girl Scout Leader. She loved spending time at camp, anything chocolate, gardening and keeping the most beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, music, shopping, family trips, and spending time with family and friends.
Florence is survived by two sons: Andrew Gaberseck of Coudersport, and Joseph Gaberseck Jr (LouAnn) of Eldred; a daughter: Nila Gerner (Steve) of Coudersport; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers, six sisters, a son: Max Gaberseck; two grandsons and a great-grandson.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Florence's life from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, October 14 at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 N. East Street, Coudersport, PA 16915, with her funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gaberseck Family Cemetery.
