Frances Hesselbein

What an incredible woman she was. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort the family during this difficult period.

Saddened to hear of cousin Frances' passing. Our grandfathers were brothers - two of the five who emigrated from Cornwall, England. Last saw her at sister Gertrude's funeral. Kept in touch via e-mails. Proud to be related to be related to such an outstanding lady.

Ecclesiastes 7:1 A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth. She most definitely made a very good name for herself. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

Our condolences to Mrs Hesselbein´s family and friends. I treasured our little chats when she would stop by my office. She was a treasure to talk with and she will be greatly missed

Frances Hesselbein was an inspiration to many Girl Scouts including my daughter who was included in this 1984 cover photo.
My daughter is a PhD Economist and lives and works in D. C. Incidentally my grandmother was born and raised in Johnstown, PA.

Frances´ life and being represented the true meaning of leadership. Her humanity, outreaches and publications helped shape the lives and roles of many leaders around the world. Peter Drucker, as well as many others, is glad to be with his friend again!?

Frances was the model for "Courage to Leap & Lead" for womankind. She left us with richness unsurpassed by others. I feel fortunate to have met her.

Frances was a shining Light for Christ in all the world. I was blessed to have her as a close family friend, personal and professional mentor. I will miss her dearly.

Frances was an inspiration to so many and her inspiration led to so many good works, not the least of which is the community Marshall Goldsmith created. Her memory will be for a blessing.
