Frank Comfort Jones II

Frank was my best friend through boot camp US Navy San Diego, later we went to Class A school at NTC San Diego, and then we both eventually would meet again in Hawaii, our first assignments. Frank was my best man at my wedding and his wife Marsha stood with my wife. I just found out today that he has passed. What a hit. I'm so sad. Life moves so fast, I should have contacted him so many years ago. Now he is gone and I've lost a dear friend. I guess I'll be seeing you later bud. love ya.

When Frank was my classmate and my first boyfriend in high school, he gave me a Valentine´s Day card which he signed "Fabulous Frankie." My brothers teased me endlessly about that, and my mother included that card in a scrapbook she made for my high school graduation. And now, over five decades later, when I thumb through the pages and reminisce about those days at LPHS, I must admit that my memories of Frank Jones are absolutely fabulous! May you rest in peace, Fabulous Frankie!
