Age 92, of Brookline, born in McKeesport, son of Lawrence and Sara Giganti Gumina, graduated from McKeesport High School in 1946, served in US Army in Germany during the Korean War, lifelong member of NRA and American Legion, very proud of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, kind, gentle, peaceful man, devoted husband, his enthusiasm for life was defined by his deep faith, love of family, love of the outdoors, his strong pro-life support, and his strong Sicilian heritage. Member of St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, survived by wife of 33 years Lorraine Kostka Gumina. Children Marian (Tim deceased) Gumina, Fred (Joanie), Michael (Sandy), Bill (Sharon), Marita (Al) Jones, Paul (Beth), Anne Marie (Tim) Morse, Renee (Dan) Irvin, Shannon Hasek and Kristen Burns- all of Pittsburgh. Grandchildren Melissa (Eric) Tomasic, Michael (Stacy) Caudill, Matthew (Kristin Caudill, Timothy (Hannah) and Dominic Loper, Angela (Kevin) Murphy, Nicole, Natalie (John) Meharey, Andrea, Michelle, Stephanie (Jim) Glowa, Melanie (Tom), Bill (Kristin), Stephen (Jessica), Brendon (Gemma), Erica (Kevin) Mitch, Lauren, Paul Daniel, Breanna, and Timothy James, Anthony (Kelly), Timothy, Michael (Cori) Cauley, Alyssa (Morgan) Hanes, Jason Burns and Richie (Allison) Derrick. Great-Grandchildren Matthew, Lillian, Nathan, Gabrielle, Luka, Angelique, Kayla, Georgia, Samantha, Marissa, Cameron, Ashley, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Jack, Chase, Jordyn, Grace, Colton, Nico and Emily. Sister Dolly (Henry deceased) of Texas, Brother Felix (Glenda) of Chicago, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by Brother Cosmo Alfredo in 1926, sister Stella Jane in 1935, still born infant son in 1955 and Sister Mary Crawford in 2021. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Family and friends are welcome at 2630 W. Liberty Ave, 15216, on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa of Kolkata St. Pius X on Tuesday, October 19 at 10 a.m. The family requests that anyone who attends to please meet at the church. Internment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday, October 22, at 10 a.m. Please add or view tributes at www.beinhauer.com
