Gelardo "Jerry E. Zenzillo aka Jr."

Gelardo E. "Jerry" Zenzillo, Jr., age 34, of Deerfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 25, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital Center, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in New Hartford, NY on November 29, 1988, a son of Gelardo C. "Jerry" and Janine Glatt Zenzillo and was a graduate of New Hartford High School.
Jerry was a Collision and Auto Repair Specialist. He worked alongside his dad in the operation of the family business, "Auto Dimensions Plus" on Culver Ave. Jr. as he was affectionately known, was a car enthusiast, especially having a love of the Subaru Racing Team. He was everything, Subaru, and enjoyed every event and race to the fullest. Jr. was also an avid Motor Cross Racer as well as his affection for skateboarding. Jr. had an exceptional personality. He always had a way to make you laugh and feel special. He had a heart of Gold and would light up a room with his smile. His family will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Surviving are his beloved parents, Janine and Jerry; his brother and sister-in-law Antonio and Jamie Zenzillo: his sister and brother-in-law Danielle and Anthony Bevilacqua; two nephews Leo Zenzillo and Enzo Bevilacqua; his uncles and aunts, Gary and Carole Glatt, David and Holly Glatt, Jeff Glatt, Lisa Glatt and partner Tracy Bray and Alex Zenzillo and many cousins and dear friends. He also leaves his special canine companion Sadie. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Anthony "Tony" and Josephine Zenzillo and maternal grandparents Ed and Ruth Glatt.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 1st, from 1-3 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Funeral service prayers will be at the conclusion of visitation at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Jerry.
