In memory of
Angela Hazzard
January 29, 2025
Mr. G was the BEST bus driver in DE for my littles. We all connected with him from the start in 2015. He retired in 2019 but we kept up contact. Our 2020 Christmas card got returned and I've just now found his obituary. So thankful to have known him, albeit for a short time.

Dear Joan and family,
I recently learned of George's passing. I knew something was wrong when mom's cards she wrote came back in the mail. Lynda finally found out and shared the sad news. You both were so much a part of the Citta family. We shared many happy occasions, including when I said, "George, I love your new car!" He then handed me the keys and said, "Here, It is yours!" What a memory. You were family to us, and we have had the best childhood because my parents picked special friends like you. Prayers to family and friends.
All our love,
Susan

JOAN,LINDA,SHIRLEY and family,
I am so saddened to hear of GEORGES passing.when I came from germany to start a new life in america in 1957,GEORGE was there. We made an instant connection with each other and he even introduced me to many of his friends, through the years .we had many good times together throughout our lives.GEORGE could always make people laugh, I'm sure he knew many friends in his life.we still kept in touch with each other through the many years . He would call every few weeks or so just to say a quick hello. He will be truly truly missed.

Hi Aunt Joan,
I am sorry for the loss of Uncle George.
George was a great Uncle, and very memorable. Right now I remember after a race, in race track pit, George was happy and you giving sandwiches out to everyone. And George happy at Canstatter with large group of people.
We will miss George.

Joan, we are so sorry to hear of George passing away. I remember so well when you moved to your home on Village Road and George would stop by at our farm on Woodbourne Road when traveling back and forth to Langhorne. We always enjoyed his visits and the friendship we developed through the years with George and you. In later years, it was fun to stop by your Delaware home and catch up on your life down there. We will certainly miss George and send you and your family our deepest sympathy.

Joan and family we are so very sorry for you loss. We are at a loss for words. George was such a kind and caring person. The friendship between George and Kevin go way back to their McCafferty days. It was such a blessing that we were able to reconnect once we relocated to Delaware. George will always hold a special place in our hearts. He touched the lives of everyone that knew him. He was an incredible person. He will be sadly missed by everyone.
