Greg was born to Annie and Victor Perez in St. Paul, MN on September 28th, 1960. Greg's life can be summed up as a warm light that welcomed and comforted all of those around him. That light, snuffed out too soon, led Greg to live a fulfilled life with adventure, love, dedication, and service. He loved hiking, taking family road trips and was an avid runner. He was known for his hard work and steadfast commitment to his family. He was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support, a guiding light, always ready with words of wisdom, encouragement, and love. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Throughout his life, Greg exemplified the values of integrity, kindness, and generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His warm smile and hearty laugh would often light up any room, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Victor Perez and his brother, David Perez. He is survived by his loving daughters, Sarah Bares (Adam) & Dana Link (David); grandchildren, Liam and Mia; close friend and mother to their children, Colleen Perez, sister, Sandie (Jeff) and by many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at Summit Funeral & Cremation, 6415 Carmen Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 with a visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will follow at Newport Cemetery. Immediately following the burial a luncheon will take place at SUMMIT Funeral & Cremation.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
