Guenter G Gruenfelder

Guenter, 81, of Hackensack, passed away on Monday January 30, 2023 with his loving wife of 46 years Ute by his side. Guenter was born in Bad Ischl Austria. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 and became a citizen on November 30, 2017 which he was proud of. He became a co-owner of B & W Bakery in Hackensack in 1979 and then became the sole owner and operator in 1983 until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Paramus, the Carlstadt Mixed Chorus, where he was very active from singing solos at their concerts to bartending, Rheinischer Saengerbund where he was their Lieder Father, and the Enzian Ski club. An active man Guenter enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, biking, tennis, but his real passion was golfing and skiing.
Cherished Husband for 46 years to Ute (nee Hoermann). Guenter is survived by numerous Family members in the US, Germany and Austria.
A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday February 11 at 7pm at the New Apostolic Church 286 Paramus Rd. Paramus NJ.
