Guy W. Curran: 66 years old of Salem, WI passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 21, 2023. He was born February 21, 1957, in Chicago, IL the son of the late James and Luella (neé Taft) Curran. Both Guy & Colleen summered in Salem, WI with their families, where they met as kids, before settling there in 1995. On August 3, 1996, he married Colleen Connolly (his best friend and soulmate) in Kenosha, WI.
Before his retirement in 2022, Guy worked for Taft Inc. (alongside his brother, niece and nephews) for many years and was a proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local #1, Forest Park, IL.
Guy loved the Chicago Bears, drag racing, NASCAR and making friends all over the country. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with the people he loved and was always the life of the party.
Survivors include: his wife of 26 years, Colleen; children: Kelly Curran of Chicago, IL, Kelly (Adam) Huhn of Lake Geneva, WI, and Brian Chwaszczewski of Bristol, WI; two grandchildren: Grace and Audrey Huhn; a brother Michael (Sandra) Curran of Salem, WI; sister-in-laws Bridget (Robert) Moran of Mundelein, IL; Marie (John) Gallagher of Lake Geneva, WI; nieces and nephews: Cristine (Jeff), James (Danielle), Aaron (Kayla), Megan (Andrew); Erin (Andy); Katie; Hailey; Catherine; Madison; great nieces Tara & Luella and great nephews Parks & Cameron as well as a countless number of friends.
