I am so sorry to hear this. I worked for Steve at the Department of Education at one point in my career, and he was a dedicated, caring public servant. He was full of life and humor, and his passing will leave a void. My condolences and prayers for comfort.

Steve, I will really miss our chats! It was so good to be able to discuss life and the world around us these last 34 years. The world is a hard place these days and will definitely be LESS of all the good things without you in it. I hope you're playing the hell out of that trumpet. Love you old chum - JaciWilliams

I´m sorry to hear about Steve´s passing. I grew up in the same neighborhood (Hi-Acres) and he was in many of my classes throughout grade school and high school. He was always a super nice guy. My condolences go to his family during his difficult time.
