I worked for Mr. Taylor for 11 years. He would always come out and talk with us and help us wash cars when I first started. I moved into the parts department about 4 years later. Working for Howard, Jerry Newcomer and Tom Geer at Taylor Motors prepared me for taking over Shasta Lanes in 2001. I will be forever grateful.

Howard and his family have been an inspiration to me for many years.
His unfailing integrity, community leadership and strength of character were the cornerstone of his personal and public life. Howard made good friends and earned much respect.
It was a privilege to work with him and call him a friend.
Salute to a good man, a fellow veteran and a patriotic American.

Howard and his family have been an important part of our lives for as long as I can remember. He helped me with my very first car purchase and used the opportunity to fine my dad (Donald Brooks) at that day's Rotary Meeting! When my sister, Brandee, and I had a difficult personal issue, we went directly to Howard for guidance. He will continue to be a part of my childhood memories and reside in my heart.

I am so sorry for his family's loss. You are special to us and if I can ease your mind or pain, please allow me the privilege to do so.
