Jack Rodney Beagle, age 69, of Jonesville, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 20, 1953, in Hillsdale, to Wayne and Mabel (Smith) Beagle.
Jack graduated from Jonesville High School in 1971 and went onto attend a trade school. He was a lifelong mechanic and worked for Leutheuser from 1991 to 2019. He was also part owner of the Shell Station in Jonesville with Bob Guyse. Jack loved to be outdoors camping and was seasonal at the Potawatomie Campground in Girard for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed golfing and was part of the Mill Race league in Jonesville as well as the Lake LeAnn golf course in Somerset. Jack also use to be an avid horseback rider and was even a barrel racer for some time. When he wasn't at work or on the golf course you could find Jack out in the garage tinkering with various projects.
Jack is survived by three children, Jennifer (Mark Williams) Hugenell of Lansing, Jason (Bobbie Holifield) Beagle of Jonesville, and Christina Beagle of Jonesville; a lost son, Brian Robinson; seven grandchildren, Kenneth (Kisha) Hugenell, Brianna Darlin, Jaron McNett, Aubree Beagle, Jason Beagle Jr. Erik Crawford, and Shyann Crawford; six great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews; one brother, Jerry (Sandy) Beagle of Jackson, and his ex-wife and mother of his children Rebecca "Becky" Falzon.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Judy Price and Jim Beagle.
A funeral service for Jack Beagle will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Rev. Tina Zimmerman officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM and also on Friday from 10:00 until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
