Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Wille
Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Wille, 83, born December 25,1939 passed away peacefully on her birthday December 25, 2022. Born in Lancaster, SC Jackie also resided in Janesville, WI and Rock Hill, SC. Jackie was the daughter of Alice M. Nehls and Vilas "Pete" Nehls. In addition to her parents Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Sidney "Sid" Carl Wille, brother Wayne Steele, and sister Brenda Osmond. Jackie is survived by her daughter Debrah "Debbie" Day (Bert), her son Brian Carl Wille (Matilda), her grandsons Bryce Martin Wille (Rebecka) and Trevor James Wille, two great-grandsons Jonah and Gideon Wille.
Jackie was a dedicated employee of The Singer Company, JP Stevens Outlet Store, and bookkeeper with Sid's Tire Service. At age 50 she decided to enroll in college to obtain a degree in Nursing from York Technical College. Following graduation, Jackie was employed by Chester County Hospital followed by Hospice of York County until her retirement at age 72.
Jackie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved fellowship with friends by participating in several supper clubs, bowling, bridge groups, and going to movies frequently.
Jackie will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, faithful friend, and for her caring personality that always went above and beyond.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude for her caregivers from Patricia Home Care, Tradition Hospice, and Susan Townsend.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 14, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church 426 Oakland Ave. Rock Hill, SC
