James married Marguerite in Melrose Park, Illinois in 1972 and they had eleven children. He was a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and was active with Church, Family and Friends.
Jim is survived by James Courtney (Kim), Kathleen Hunter (Ted), Patricia Miller, Stephen Courtney (Chris), Mark Courtney, Suzanne Scarlato (Carmelo), Michelle DiMaio (Dino), Randy Woosley, Bryan Woosley, Tom Woosley (Susan), 23 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Marguerite Courtney and John Woosley.
The Family will be holding a Mass at Our Lady of the Lakes 1310 Maximillian St. Deltona, Florida on Friday May 20, 2022 at 10:00am with a Celebration of Life to follow at Moose Lodge Deland at 11:30am. Burial will held be at a later date to be interred at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Hillside, IL.
They were both truly loved by all of us.
