Jimmy was a good, gentle guy. I knew him as a customer at Carter Lumber. He was always pleasant and he was a great example of what Christ would want us all to be. Love and prayers for his family.

We met Jimmy and his family when they moved to Kings Mountain and joined First Baptist Church. My husband enjoyed helping with Boy Scout troop 92 where Jimmys dad was scout leader and Jimmy worked on his ranks until he became an Eagle Scout. Jimmy was always such a kind, good hearted kid and it was wonderful to see how lived out his life. He touched many lives and a wonderful example to point others to Christ. Prayers are being lifted up for the family.

Jimmy was my youth pastor in Burlington, NC. He loved all of the youth so well, pouring his life into us and out for us as he taught us to love the Lord and honor him with our lives. He took us to youth camps and impressed us with the joy of knowing Jesus and the wisdom of his commands. I will never forget Jimmy encouraging us to wait for the Lord and hope in Him when times are hard. Thank you Lord, for your joyful, faithful servant, Jimmy Ferebee!
