James R. Patterson, 63, of Decatur, passed away at his home on December 21, 2023.
No services will be held. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family.
James was born May 6, 1960 in Decatur the son of Samuel Robert and Jessie Mae (Savage) Patterson. He worked for many years for Illinois DORS as a home health worker. He loved, fishing, drinking beer and watching Jeopardy.
Surviving are his niece, Randi Patterson, of Chicago and friend, Cindy Matthews of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
